In Loving memories of my Late Grandfather (2001–2075/04/16)

I wish I was your walking stick so you could have leaned on me. If superheroes were in real life I would not hesitate to call you one. You were the one I wanted most to stay but time was ahead of us. It appeared before I was able to do any one thing for you. In days of yore being my bulwark, you always stood. Your calmness against my blunder and your tranquility against my rage made me admire you more. What on earth could have measured your love? You were sunshine in human form and a lifeline in obstruction.

I wonder what thoughts might have crossed your mind in those last moments. Were you in pain for leaving us? Were you satisfied with life? Were there still some works left undone? Was there anything left to be said? Every day I ask myself was it gratifying what I ever did for you? Was I able to love you back more? Was I a good granddaughter?

Even in the time of deathbed you never missed a shot to manifest your love. You worked so hard to contribute to being a good father, a good friend, a good leader and above all a good human being. You are forever in my heart.
